Change taas....

Well, Change Calls came again, but don't worry, I'm not involved this time, just my companion, Vanhin Cassity. He is going to Jyväskylä after being here in Kouvola for about 7 months. I will receive Vanhin Balls tomorrow as my new companion. He is fairly new to the country still, having been here for about 4-5 months I think. The funny part is though, is that he is in my district already, so I was on splits with him all day Saturday before they caught their train back to Mikkeli . . .then that night change calls came . . .so he's coming back. haha He's a good Elder, I'm excited.

-I was able to finally have a mini Christmas on Friday, when Eden's small Christmas package arrived for me!! Kiitos Eden!!! Still waiting for the Alaska Christmas Package, haha. Maybe you chould send me the tracting number or something, anything that could identify it, then I'll give it to the mission office and they can call Customs and see if it is stuck there or something. Who knows though . . .could come today! :)

-This past Tuesday we were able to do some service for an older couple in the branch here. We built a cabinet for them, then we got up on their roof and shoveled it off . . . .which was quite fun. We were able to jump off the roof onto the HUGE mountain of snow on the ground that we created . . . .don't worry . . . it was hardly a far jump at all.

-Like I mentioned earlier, we had splits this past week. At the same time, a District Meeting was held here in Kouvola, which are always good. For splits we were all over the place, finding and teaching . . but the highlight is about a young man who I'll call Nic. He was an investigator a few months ago, with a baptismal date and everything, but he disappeared for a while and we lost contact, but he resurfaced and we went and taught him and he's back on the map, even talked about baptism sometime this June, when he gets out of the army, which is required for all young men here.

-While tracting this week we got let in by two African families. The dad of one of them came to church on Sunday and told us as he was walking out that he wants to be baptized!!! Well that was fast, haha . . . .the Spirit converts, I'm telling ya. It is going to be hard and a long process, because he speaks very little Finnish and no English. The foreigners here are always so nice and humble.

Well, I know that this isn't much of an e-mail this week, but it's all I got! We are about to head off to a teach with an investigator who is doing very well, then my companion has to pack!
I love you all more than your e-mails, and comments I've been hearing from you telling me to smile in my pictures, haha. . . .IT'S FINNISH!!! haha . .I'll work on it.
Rakkaudella,
Vanhin Watson
